Crossroads Life Center's mission is to serve internationals in the Ithaca area by:
Crossroads provides an opportunity for graduate students, visiting professors, and their families as well as our local community to gather and find solace in a homey atmosphere. Many of these individuals are the future leaders of our global community. They are entrepreneurs, researchers, economists, government officials, educators, scientists, lawyers, horticulturists, nutritionists and the list goes on to what Ithaca has to offer, and each has an amazing story to tell.
At Crossroads our purpose is to make a difference not only in the lives of students and visiting professors but also for the spouses who accompany them. It is especially hard for mothers with young children to socialize easily in various classes and other intellectually and socially stimulating settings.
We regularly hear back from individuals that they are profoundly grateful for the personal connections made with the Crossroads community. Through this website we are continuing these life long relationships.
The Christian Bible tells us, “Love the lord your God, and love your neighbor as you love yourself.” This universal human value is our motivation and is echoed in many faiths, symbolizing the common ground we cherish and directs us into living and serving cooperatively amongst our diverse communities.
Thank you for being a part of this community.
